Your own shop, Shopify or Etsy?

There isn't one right answer. A shop built into your own website suits a smaller range, limited drops and brands that want full control of the look. Shopify suits larger catalogues with lots of stock to manage. Etsy brings shoppers, but takes fees and owns the customer relationship.
